Veterinary Receptionist
The role of a veterinary receptionist is to provide an exceptional standard of care for all patients and clients thru offering a friendly greeting by phone and in person. Receptionist are the first point of contact for clients utilizing the services of Tender Care Veterinary Center. It is the responsibility of the veterinary receptionist to schedule appropriately over the phone, greet all clients that enter the Center, and ensure the clients are comfortable in a clean reception area. Veterinary receptionists assist the hospital in achieving greater efficiency by ensuring the front office moves quickly so clients are not waiting. They have a significant role in communicating with and educating clients about pet health and well-being.
Associate Doctor of Veterinary Medicine
We are searching for a motivated person to join our expanding team of individuals serving the southern Colorado community. Our business is managed with a positive outlook on life and its many challenges. We utilize our technical staff to extend our veterinarians abilities to see more patients and be an integral part of our business. Our clinic has a wonderful family feel and we feel strongly that our team always help each other achieve greatness. Veterinary Assistant
The job of a Veterinary Assistant with Tender Care Veterinary Center involves communication and collaboration with our veterinarians, certified veterinary technicians and clients. Our VAs are involved in every aspect healthcare for our patients. Our VAs routinely assist with routine preventative care appointments, patient restraint, assist with radiographs, assist with filling prescriptions, assist the certified veterinary technician with anesthesia, surgery, dentistry and emergency care. Our VAs are also entrusted with completing laboratory tests including blood chemistries, complete blood counts and urinalysis.
Certified Veterinary Technician
The job of a Certified Veterinary Technician with Tender Care Veterinary Center involves communication and collaboration with our veterinarians and clients. Our CVTs are involved in every aspect healthcare for our patients. Our CVTs routinely assist with routine preventative care appointments, administer medications, take radiographs, collect patient samples, fill prescriptions, assist with anesthesia, surgery, dentistry and emergency care. Our CVTs are also entrusted with completing laboratory tests including blood chemistries, complete blood counts and urinalysis.
